Birth time is one of the most important details for an accurate chart, ideally within a 15-minute window of when you were born. If you don't know it, try:
- Checking your long-form birth certificate, which often lists the time.
- Calling the hospital where you were born.
- Contacting the county vital records office where you were born. Provide your full name and date of birth, and in some cases your parents' names.
Many people recover their birth time this way, even years later. Tip: when you request a birth certificate, ask for the original long-form version, since standard copies usually leave the time off. If you still can't find it, enter 12:00 noon as a placeholder and update it later.
